The first issue of THOR that I read began with a rarity, a synopsis-free splash page. It wasn't until #144 that I saw how smoothly the Lee/Kirby team could handle that opening page chore.
Of all the scans you posted, this one by far has the nicest inking of Kirby's pencils. Excellent detail, awesome muscles and a hot babe make this splash page a winner. Kirby-Colletta Thor was the zenith of comic book art.
